I want to be able to equip these children with the skills and encouragement that they will need to be successful once they enter grade school. These children deserve the best opportunities for success and the ABC Center will continue to work to provide the most up to date resources in order to encourage the growth and success of these young children.

I have read both the original proposal and that by far the most important part of the proposal. The second part states:This year I propose to open an Academy that offers a Bachelor of science education in early childhood programming and a Bachelor of education in preschool or elementary education. This will be our first stage of our organization and, along with many other early childhood efforts, we’ll look to expand our focus throughout the school community. Each parent in the community will help lead a team of dedicated family and school staff to teach such an in-demand education. Since the opening, we have worked very closely with many of the programs offered by the center to get them into the hands of the next generation. My hope is that we are able to begin a conversation that will allow our students to grow and thrive in this great country that we have created. I am excited and confident that more and more parents will stand up and share that we are committed to helping their kids to succeed the way that we have.”

Section I: Program Description Name: The ABC Preschool Center Location: 123 The ABC Preschool CenterHours of Operation: 9:00am-1:00pm M-FAges Served: 1-4 yearsSection II:Program and the program: We wanted you to know that our goal is to provide an early childhood education program that encourages children to gain a deeper understanding of the role that education can play in shaping the future for them and their families. As a foundation, we seek to provide early childhood education programs aimed at teaching important skills that may become essential for college readiness and other skills learned in childhood, and these programs have developed into an important part of our life in this country. We are looking for parents who believe that having a primary place for the kids to take in their lives helps them develop the basic skills needed for the future, and this is our responsibility. As a result, we envision that parents to help their children develop the skills they need to participate in college and in other college areas would not be considered an entitlement. Our vision is to provide an educational program that encourages children to gain a deeper understanding of the role that education can play in shaping the future for them and their families. As a result, we envision that parents to help their children develop the skills they need to participate in college and in other college areas would not be considered an entitlement. We intend to develop programs that will help children build better quality of life for their families; to build an early childhood education curriculum that encourages the development of the core values that come to the children of America. We envision that families should be able to learn by themselves, and those who are capable are prepared to make tough choices. Our program will be conducted as follows: 1. Primary place for all students with a high school diploma. 2. Program that focuses on high quality learning at a preschool or high school level for an entire year; 3. Program that prepares children for the roles that education plays. 4. Primary place to prepare all student’s for college readiness and other skills. 5. Primary source for all children through prekindergarten/prek1. 6. Primary place for all children through high school. 7. Program we plan this to be in our community and we will be in a program that encourages all of our students to learn and grow each day. We

Mission Statement:The mission of the ABC Preschool Center is to provide a quality preschool program at an affordable price. The center seeks to treat every child as an individual and to help each of them reach their fullest potential. By creating a safe and nurturing environment, children will have the opportunity to learn and grow in a comfortable and exciting atmosphere.

Educational Philosophy:My philosophy of education is one that covers a wide range. I personally believe that the early years are the most important years for human development. I feel that the person we become and how we behave later on has much to do with our early experiences in life. I believe that children are like sponges and that they are ready and willing to learn. I feel that all children have the ability to learn and succeed if they are presented new ideas and materials in a secure, supporting, and nurturing environment.

Curriculum Model:The ABC Center uses the Creative Curriculum as its standard Curriculum. This Curriculum allows children to develop confidence, creativity, and critical thinking skills.

Section III:Facilitys Design:Learning environments speak to both children and adults in powerful ways. Our use of space tells children how to behave and how to feel (Decker, Decker, Freeman, & Knoft 2009). Each classroom will be well organized and free of clutter. All items placed in each classroom will meet all current safety standards and will be age and developmentally appropriate. All hazards items such as cleaning supplies will be properly secured and out of the childrens reach at all times. All classroom items will be properly cleaned and sanitized at the end of each school day. Each classroom will be divided into learning centers and will offer many opportunities for free exploration. Each classroom will offers child sized furnishings. Emergency plans are posted in every room.

The centers outdoor equipment is composed of commercial grade playground equipment. Equipment is properly maintained and inspected on a regular basis. Areas are divided based on appropriate age of use. First aid equipment is located near each age area.

Section IV:Teacher Position Description:Lead Teacher-It will be the responsibility of the lead teacher to plan and coordinate all of the activities that take place in the classroom. Activities must be developmentally and age appropriate. Lead teachers must have the ability to individualize any lesson plan and be able to remain flexible through the course of each day. Lead teachers must be capable of providing loving and enthusiastic support to all children. Lead teachers must be able to work and communicate with all staff and parents in order to maintain a supportive and productive environment.

Assistant Teacher-Assistant teachers will work under the supervision of a qualified teacher at all times. She will help aid the Lead Teacher in the daily routines. Assistants will help to maintain and clean and safe classroom environment at all times and assist the Lead Teacher in documenting observations and maintaining communication with parents and guardians.

Staff Professional Growth Plan:To build a quality program I believe that it first starts with the atmosphere created by those who work together to implement the program. Staff needs to be educated and current on past, as well new and improved, theories and practices. I also feel that it is important for staff to be able to work well together. Being able to work well with a large and diverse group of people is something that we ask of these children every day. I believe that we should be able to lead by example. Each teacher or administrator working at this center will become or will
