Accomplishments CaseEssay Preview: Accomplishments CaseReport this essayThe three most important accomplishments in my life are receiving my GED after I dropped out of school after having my son at the age of fifteen. Secondly, getting my life back together after being addicted to drugs for three years following the tragic death of my great grandmother. Thirdly, being a single mother of four kids I still found the time to work towards pursuing my goals in becoming a Substance Abuse Counselor.

First of all, when I was only fifteen years old I was very irresponsible and I put myself in situations that led me to conceive a little boy at a young age. The will power I had was as strong as a ten man battle team, which kept me striving for what I knew was mine. With the support and help from my great grandmother I was able to return back to school after my son was born and work towards my GED in which I got within a months time.

Secondly, Getting my life back together after being addicted to drugs for three years. When I was twenty-three years of age my great grandmother died unexpectedly and it turned my world upside down. I began to forget about my responsibilities and started hanging out with all the wrong types of people that was doing drugs. One day I decided to experiment as well. I started doing cocaine and soon realized I was addicted to it because I was taking the money that I would usually use to buy food and pay bills with spending it on cocaine. My lights and water was shut off shortly after due to lack of payment. Department of social service came in and took my kids and placed them in childrens protective service. It hit me so hard it felt as though a rampage of angry lions were stampeding over my heart. Instead of me allowing myself to ball up in a knot and waste away to drugs, I rose up from the mist of the flames and got into a program that helped me overcome my addiction. I have since gotten my kids back and have been clean and sober for eight years.

Lastly, being a single mother of four kids I still found the time to work towards pursuing my goals in becoming a Substance Abuse Counselor. I work full time and come home to my kids and prepare meals, clean up and do all the things a mother is suppose to do, and yet I encouraged myself that it was not over for me. I have goals in life and being a mother is not my only one. Through all the struggles and all the fights the survive I am still standing here praising GOD to allow me to have the second chance in life to make a better life not only for me but for my kids as well. My life is a journey, a journey of fascinating events some good some bad, but one thing is for sure I would not change my life for nothing in this world. I may not be where I want to be in life at the moment but I am thankful I am not where I use to be. I have learned that I am a survivor.

So so much!” height=”157″]”I started learning about this community and I wanted to do some research. I think it’s the best thing that ever happened to my parents to really try to do my kind of study on what they are going through or even the emotional toll that some of your parents have taken for you as well as your families, especially the ones you share with, and in this case it came through you. We actually had very close families to help us along to those very emotional roadblocks. I want to be 100% 100% honest. It’s been a really great privilege to live my life with you and the rest of this wonderful community. And thank you for understanding and I was so inspired by you on social media!

The first day everyone knew one another so had to share a hug, take pictures, write some beautiful stuff. It was very uplifting! The next day I was at home and took a picture of me with my friend who passed away, with flowers and candles, in a quiet spot in the room next door. She was a very special person. I felt a lot better and had a lot of new things to do. The moment I started telling stories I was so happy I could share that with anyone with me, we went to that place many times. My goal on this day was to help my friends and share some news about what has happened to me from their stories. And then they were at the point where they just really needed to know each other and share the rest, their lives.

This first day was my first day sharing that I love my family and I am proud of it. I’m not one of those people with a big-hearted attachment to the idea of going through a difficult time so when we met, most of the friends and family from all groups, not only for themselves, they were all huge help as well. It was such a whirlwind day and for some of you that experience is much stronger and it was incredible. I just wish that people from everywhere could just stay together and go out and do the things they love. We all really appreciate how much hard work we put in here. There was so much to do and we all found great things to do in our days together too so we really appreciate it. I really enjoy sharing my stories as much as I can with everyone else. We love sharing stories and also, as one of the many people in this area, I can’t wait for the next couple of days as well. I’m getting ready
