As Forest Gump says, “life is like a box of chocolates, you never know what youre going to get.” I am very unpredictable, you never know what to expect. Im like a mood ring, changing everyday. Im like a clock wounding, I live from minute to minute, knowing that one day the hands will stop but I just keep going. Life may throw rocks, but I live my life feeding myself faith and starving my fears.

18 years of age, born and raised in a small community known as Flat Lick, KY. Went to G.R.Hampton Elementary from preschool through sixth grade, for seventh and eighth grade I attended Knox County Middle School and a high school graduate from Knox Central. Was a member of the basketball team, dance team, cheerleading team, tennis team, volleyball team, track and field, and cross country teams. I have a wonderful father, mother, and one older sister. Family means the world to me and I couldnt make it without them. God is my rock and my church is my second home.

I have the courage to face difficult challenges while adhering to a strong, positive attitude. I have the willingness to care for the safety, personal, and spiritual well being of people. I have the ability to be committed to positive or negative change and constant improvements.

If theres one thing Ive learned throughout life, its that I have weaknesses upon many weaknesses but they can also be drowned by my strengths. I dont deal well with distractions, I have an inability to delegate often times, and sometimes I tend to focus too much of my time on minor details, instead of worrying about projects as a whole.

My dear sweet Grandmother died on June 26, 2012 but has never left my side. A thousand words couldnt bring her back and neither could a million tears but she made a huge impact on my life and taught me many things and in my heart she owns a place that no one can ever fill. She was the strongest woman I had ever met and her love has left a memory that no one can steal. And I know she is looking down on me with a pride on what she brought into this world with her guidance.

God is always there regardless. God is my shoulder to lean on, my backbone to rely on, and my shelter when Im in need, and always full of love. I knew ever since I was 12 years old I wanted to serve God through every part of my life. My family is no where near perfect, but theyre my companions and we all need them to help us get through lifes peaks and valleys. My church is like my home away from home. I couldnt survive without them, theyre always just a phone call away and I would rather be around people like them whom I can relate to than anyone. They all three give me my strength in my weakest moments.

As John Quincy Adams once said, “If your actions inspire others to dream more, learn more, do more, you are a leader.” We all want to be remembered by something meaningful
