Afghan labor ministry has signed international agreements for the International Labor Organization Management. Under this agreement Afghanistan will establish new or modified plans and policies to respect national and international standards for employees management.

One of the biggest examples of Afghan administrations success for better safety management for employees is its achievement of New York Federal Executive Board Emergency Preparedness and Employee Safety Award in May 2011. This shows that the atmosphere for employees is changing in Afghanistan. Now, we have more secure and perfect environment for people to get employment according to their educational and skill levels. Afghanistan is no more war zone, now local administration and US management is trying to establish constant stability for both local and international communities. These efforts also have a great deal of influence on changing Afghanistans working environment for employees and for offering much better safety and support to employees.

On March 4th President Obama issued a US$100 billion “surge” in military aid for Afghanistan. This was the first US infusion since 2003. More than 12 million people came to see Obama on Wednesday in Washington. The program was announced four days in advance and cost up to $100 billion over the next 10 years. It is believed President Obama is expected during his upcoming State of the Union address to be reelected first in November.

Afghanistan also recently announced that it has begun providing over $3 billion to the European Union’s financial and economic support community over the next six years. There is no way for Afghanistan and its government or its local communities to afford that support without a US intervention. President Obama promised to use US support if necessary to fund other efforts to stabilize Afghanistan.
