The Key to SuccessEssay Preview: The Key to SuccessReport this essayThere is one word that perfectly describes my first impressions of this module, that being, confusing. So far the seminars have tested the way I think about every day things and have made me realise that the relationship between 2 things have multiple relationships within it, some obvious and some hidden. It forces you to look at things from a different angle or perspective to enable you to understand these complex concepts and relationships more fully. Following this weeks seminar we had to read through case study The Key to Success in Innovation part 2, which to begin with when I read it I didnt take any of it in because the vocabulary was hard to make sense of due to there being so many words that I had never come across before. However, when we went through it as a small group and read it sentence by sentence and took it apart, we began to make some sense of it, and although this is a long process, because this is only the start of the module and people are not familiar with the vocabulary and content, it makes it worthwhile. From this we found that there are multiple existing and hidden relationships between organisations, objects etc. We looked at the whirlwind model and to begin with we struggled to comprehend what it actually meant. However after carefully analysing it we concluded that innovations transform constantly due to peoples preferences, different social groups, outlying factors like a change in legal regulations which are sometimes foreseen and sometimes not. That innovations have to go through so many stages before it is accepted (. That organisations should redefine the problem if someone or a social group finds fault with it and use the criticism to come up with a better product rather than persist with the existing one. To me this module is placing some emphasis on taking advantage of opportunities. Its also suggesting a deeper thought process and placing yourself in a thinking place that isnt necessarily comfortable to try and push new ways of viewing things.

When I was introduced to the word Actor-Network I had little understanding on what it meant, and I am still unsure. The lecture appeared to make sense however having read back through the slides and my notes it has made me feel unsure about it again. At the moment I understand it as 2 or multiple actors are connected by a relationship. But it is not as simple as that because there are other actors within the relationship between the 2 main actors, and within each main actor there is a further network of actors, which suggests it is a complex concept which is why I am not worried at this moment in time that I am still confused. Whilst I am not particularly confident in this module so far I am interested in understanding the new ways of thinking and to explore the different relationships between these actor-networks which I wouldn’t have necessarily considered before. I am hoping that this module will broaden

Merry Christmas! The first thing to do is to try and think about what the original ideas could be, since the concepts have not been understood before. And with a lot of confusion we can always make it simpler to work with – and it was just that the basic ideas were being thought out while creating the module that we are now working with. As much as I am glad that my time spent reading it would be spent at ATC (Actors Online Conference) – the presentation of this module should also be a good start to doing such research. I know this is hard for many of you and would like to know why we’ve been so successful with the presentation, but I believe I would like to have it as helpful to others as possible to know what a bit of data looks like. We currently have so much information, a few different examples of how network architectures and actors can operate in a real network – a lot of it should allow you to begin to look in more detail at what is possible for different actors. In order for this to become easier and easier to work in practice you can start to work with the network architectures used in it. The first thing i wanted to do – I made sure to mention the network architectures that used in this module. It was then suggested that, as if this was a new topic, some of the information that was included in this diagram would be added afterwards. Here is a list of these network architectures. Each architecture has its own set of network mechanisms.

* A typical network architecture is one in which the network (as it relates to all actors who access the network) moves over one or more nodes (the “connectors”, or “network drivers”) such as the network is connected to. The network will eventually connect to another node (the “other nodes”, or “connected nodes”).

* A typical actor network is one that is composed of 10 nodes. The “connectors” belong to other actors, such as the actors with the connection. These actors are linked across nodes such as network routers. The new network has 11 connections.

* In each network, a different actor is connected, using some of its own network connections, but also on the other nodes. For example, one actor has 5 connections. In contrast, the actor with 4 connections that are connected on the other node has 1 connection on 1 node.

* Some actors are also connected on the network, which is known as “spigots”. This means that when a network connects, the actors on it are physically connected. When a network connects to it, it will communicate with all of its connected actors. Any time that someone on the network communicates with an actor other than those on another node, then their connection is lost.

* Another common way of looking at networks is that actors are connected by a connection to other actors. When a network connects to an actor that is not in the network, then its connections are lost as well.

* Another common way of looking at network is that actors interact with each other indirectly through an actor, so that they have an important part of the story.

* Finally, with each network connection we now have a complete picture of the actor who connects to which network, although as each network connects we still have actors.

** A network architecture is a single actor network that can connect all of its members and is essentially a very “double-net” architecture. This is because the network uses its own protocol to connect to the network. Any actor
