If I had a loved one that was suffering from cancer or anything like that and they are just ready to give up, could not talk or response to anyone then I think that assisted suicide might be the best thing for that person and their family. Should assisted suicide be allowed?

I think that assisted suicide should only be used in rare cases. Someone that has bi-polar or depression should not be allowed to use assisted suicide as a way out. Assisted suicide can also be consider as compassion and can offer a chance for the sick person to leave this earth with some dignity and on their terms.

There should always be guidelines to assisted suicide. There must never be only one person making the decision. Some of other criterias or guidelines might be an examination by a psychiatrist to see what youre mental and emotional health is, a written request from the person asking for the assists, also the doctor must check all past health records to see what the persons illness is and what treatments have or havent been done yet.

I think that in Wolfs case, her father fall within these guidelines.
I think that Wolf and her family did what they thought was best for her father. They had taken every step they could take before making the decision to take him off his life support. I know that this had to be a very hard choice to make but at least she did what her father wanted her to do.

If I had a love one that was going though what Wolf and her father were going though, I do not think I would have been able to sit there and watch my love one being in so much pain. If loving someone means that you sit there and watch them fade away like Wolf did, then I would have to respect the person and do what they asked me to do.

I think for her that was the best thing for the family. They were trying to keep her father alive. I think that this may or may not have been the right thing to do but for them it was. I hope that I would never have to make that decision, but if I had to it would be very hard and I would make sure that is what the person really wanted. Then I would have to weigh the pros of trying to fight for their life or just give them the peace that they ask for.

Right now there is a member of my church that is on his death bed. The family has to try and make the same decision that Wolf had to make. They are asking everyone to pray for them, but it is up to them and God. I think that the family had helped with assisted suicide, by taking him off life support like he wished.

I cannot sit here and say that Wolf
