Introduction
There are various terms and theories to leadership . These theories has emerged ,developed and contributed to the development of leadership concept over years. It so rather difficult to fully understand and appreciate as to what effective leadership is all about. Scholars has provided with different meaning to leadership .Leadership is the process by which an individual happens to influence others in order to accomplish or complete an objective, regardless of being in organization or governing a country. Eventually the outcome of this process is apparently to achieve a common goal through the commitment between both the leader and followers. It is also about working with and to guide the followers into new directions with integrity and thrust not being compromised. In all, leadership is all about relationship. Hence, through the use of effective leadership, results to the attainment of good governance. It will be disastrous if there were no specific individual with the respective authority and responsibilities in a country to plan, organize and to control all the activities involved. Therefore, the necessity of a good and effective leaders is vital and unequivocal. However, the qualities of a effective leadership can vary from individual to individual . The is also largely based on the fact on the context in which they were brought up on. Furthermore, the required values and qualities of an effective leadership is very much based on which area f expertise they are from. Also the leadership qualities will very of those from business personnel to military leaders.

Background information
Sir Winston Churchil
It is rather impossible to entirely know the World War II without knowing and understanding Winston Churchill. He was the greatest ever statesmen the country has ever known. AT that point of time, he was the country’s prime minister as well. No one could really deny the fact that Winston Churchill was probably the most amazing showman in British politics history. Furthermore, he was well know for his decisiveness, courageous and galvanizing leadership . This eventually made him lead his country through the World War 2 and the victory over Hitler through the use of Allied forces. Many British people as a whole, still sees him as the face of overwhelming adversity. Winston Churchill was Britain’s Prime minister for most of the period during World War 2. He became famous for several reason of which a few would be for his famous speeches and his never give up attitude even when things in the country was not going to plan then. During that period of time , he had visions in which he was able to lead his country in bad times .

General Idi Amin
Idi Amin, a tyrant ruler in Africa during 1970s. He apparently overthrew the elected government and declared by himself the president of Uganda. And when he became the ultimate ruler and president of the country, he begin to launch several ruthless regime and displayed his lack of empathy towards the people. Due to his several ruthless activities such as the expulsion of all Asian ethnic groups brought the country’s economic projection downwards. He furthermore, hurled insults at various world leaders and took the spotlight and displayed his tyrannical power and received the world’s attention.

Reason why Sir Winston Churchill was a good leader
Communication
Winston Churchill, was well know for being a very visible leader. His alluring aura keeps hope to the Britons during hard times. Winston Churchill understands the importance and value of speech and so he eventually worked up his skills and made thousands of Britons felts his presence. Winston Churchill was indeed a mastery in communication. He strongly believes that the leadership trait of communication is rather an important and essential aspect of any task carried out. Winston Churchill, puts effort and worked hard at writing and coming up with his speeches. He strongly believes that in order to work on his leadership, he needs to work productively with others and this shall not be achieved though the ability of communication. He was indeed a perfectionist who constantly write and rehearse his speeches . Due to his, amazing speaking skills, he was eventually able to lead his country to victory. Furthermore, he inspired millions to not be submissive and to accept their individual responsibilities and their duty during bad times.

Passion
Winston Churchill was a very passionate and dedicated person. To be particular, he was very passionate about the betterment of the country. No criticism was not able to stop him from attaining what he want to achieve for his country. He has the drive n him to take actions. He strongly believes that his leadership skills is able to get things done and to achieve the expected results, without jeopardizing performance. He has the ability to influence and at the same time to offer the necessary tools and platform for his people in order for them to contribute excessively to the country’s goals and objectives.

Vision
Winston Churchill, was well-known for being a great visionary . He was never shy to show it to his followers. He was always thing ahead as to what can be done to improve the current situation of his country. He believes that by having to convey his goals to his followers, it give a head start to the people as to why they are expected of and what are the challenges that are to be faced. By having to be thing ahead, Churchill brought and promoted several technological developments in to the war which benefit in achieving the goals of Churchill. One of such development was the use of radars to break codes of the enemies.

Reason why Idi amin was a bad leader
Lack of Empathy
Empathy was not in Idi Amin dictionary. He killed millions during his dictatorship in Uganda which lasted for almost 7 years. While other neighboring African countries were going through starvation, Uganda was basically falling into the hands of Idi Amin tyranny . During his time of dictatorship, he wiped several villages which consisted of hundreds of villagers. Once Idi Amin, rose to power, he immediately conducted a regime of massacre for those who opposed him. Furthermore, he came up with a group of spies to identify those opposition and at the same time enhancing his military troops concurrently. He continued to dictate Uganda with ruthlessness and eventually suspended civil rights . He expelled 30,000 -70,000 Indians and
