My name is Thaddeus Mangum, and I am a 9th Grade student-athlete from Christ Church Episcopal School in Greenville, South Carolina. I was recently selected from our state to participate in the Bahamas. I have been invited to represent the United States in this special International Showcase for youth basketball teams all over the world.
I was selected for this honor following an extensive process by the Program Selection Committee. I will be provided with the opportunity to participate in a training camp with collegiate and professional coaches, compete in the Bahamas Drama Tournament, interact with other foreign athletes and tour the historical attractions of the host country. I intend to utilize this opportunity to exchange experiences with youth from different countries.
The Program Tuition is $2,795, which includes the training camp, transportation, accommodations, and most associated costs. In order to participate in this once in a lifetime opportunity, I need your help. Currently I am requesting sponsorship from individuals and business to help alleviate the financial cost.
As a sponsor, your name will appear in the local newspaper recognizing your participation as an official sponsor. I am willing t work hard to obtain my goal of traveling to Bahamas, and will participate in a Shoot-a-thon to recognize all of my sponsors. I hope that you will be willing to give my request serious consideration. All checks should be made payable to Sportek Events, or you can contribute online.
