Would You Keep Animals like Wolves as Pets ? Why ?
A very good morning to teacher and all my friends.I am here today to give a speech entitled “Would I keep animals like wolves as pets?”Wolves are wild animals,they are not pets .Wolves has the power and beauty equal to a instinctive predator.I wont keep animals like wolves as pets because this is not good for the animal and is not entirely safe for me too.
Firstly,wolves are wild and dangerous and are meant to be so. I think that a person should not have an animal that is a dangerous predator such as wolves.They though able to be trained, but they are definitely not pet material and may turn to their wild nature at any time.It is dangerous to have an animal that is not domesticated in a home environment.
Next,we will also need a special permit to keep wolves.In most states in the Malysia we have to get a permit to own a wolf dog, and a different permit to own a wolf. We need to have special training and knowledge to be allowed to own a wolf, and even then, its not an easy task. A dog is a huge commitment. A wolf, even greater. Most people are not fit to own even a wolf dog mix, as they are part wild and have needs and requirements that many cannot provide.Wolves need special care. Most of the people cannot provide that. Those who own wild animals are required to provide a more intense level of care for their animals. If we keep wolves,we have to make sure those wolves are in a protective environment.
Finally,wolves can be harmful to the owners health too because they can carry diseases.A wolf belongs in the wild, and to make it a “pet” is cruelty. And also illegal in most places. A wolf belongs with a responsible person who knows its needs.We can avoid this problem by not keeping animals like wolves as pets because the safe way is the best way.
