Also, during hyperinsulinemia, the pressure on the abdomen is to be maintained at a high level so that sufficient blood flow is possible to maintain the lung functioning.

Severe, prolonged, or prolonged hypogastric torsion or arrhythmia (heart palpitations) is a serious cause of death in COPD patients.
