Communication is the exchange and flow of information and ideas from one person to another. It is the act of conveying information for the purpose of creating a shared understanding. When we communicate, we are successful in getting your point across to the person were talking to. When we talk, we tend to erect barriers that hinder our ability to communicate. Most people would agree that communication between two persons should be simple. When we communicate, we successful in getting the points across to the person we are talking. When we talk, we tend to erect barriers that hinder our ability to communicate. There are many types of barriers to effective communication. Some of them are as follow and their explanation:

Physical Barriers
Physical barriers are barriers that are easy to see. Doors that are closed, wall that are erected and distance between people all work against the goal of effective communication. People need their own personal areas in the workplace; setting up an office to remove physical barriers is the first step towards opening communication. While each individual has their own dedicated work space, there are no visible barriers to prevent collaboration with their co-workers. This encourages greater openness and frequently creates closer working bonds.

Perceptual barrier
Perceptual barrier is the barrier that the person you are talking to isnt not going to understand or to be interested in what you have to say. You will employ language that is sarcastic, dismissive, or even obtuse, thereby alienating your conversational partner. Perceptual barrier is also that everyone sees the world or matter differently. If a speaker speaks too fast and he is not too fluent, the listeners can dismiss him/her.

Emotional barrier
Emotional barrier is the most common barrier in communication. It involves the fear, lack of trust and suspicion. The rules of emotional mistrust of others lie in our childhood when we all taught to be careful about what we say. We are afraid to express our point of view to avoid hurting others. Excessive fear can prevent our development in communication.

Cultural barriers
Cultural barriers are a result of living in an ever shrinking world. Different cultures, whether they are a societal culture of a race or simply the work culture of a company, can hinder developed communication if two different cultures clash. When we draw a group and wish to remain in it, we need to adopt the behaviors of the group. These are the signs of belonging. In groups which are happy to accept you, to comfort, there is a mutuality of interest and a high level of communication. However there are barriers to your membership in group, there is less communication.

Language barrier
Language that describes what we want to say may present a barrier to other people who are not familiar to our expressions. When we phased our communication in such languages, it is a way of excluding others. There are often
