CHAPTER 1
Background of the Study
Even when your house is clean, it’s absolutely filthy! That’s because most of the dust and dirt in your house is way too small to see. Fortunately, most of us can live without knowing this kind of truth about our homes. A quick run around with the vacuum cleaner is enough to keep us happy (Chris Woodford, 2017).

A vacuum cleaner is the most easy to use and time saving appliance. People often go for them in order to complete the task of cleaning their homes and areas as quickly and efficiently as possible. Without the vacuum, it is nearly impossible to carry out the cleaning of carpets and huge sofa sets. Every household needs this efficient cleaning equipment. This is why the researchers think of a possible way to use a vacuum cleaner which is affordable and portable with the use of every single material that can be found at home.

The readers will benefit through this study because they will learn how to create a recyclable vacuum cleaner.
Teotical Flamework
How does a flowing stream of air collect the dirt and debris from your carpet? The key principle is friction.
A vacuum cleaners working is similar to what happens when you take a sip of juice from a straw. As you suck the air out, juice from the glass takes its place. This is because you are creating a space of empty matter with your mouth. Since matter has a tendency to occupy space, the juice will flow upward and into your mouth so long as you continue to suck.

Now apply this theory to a vacuum cleaner. The boxy part has a motor inside it that does the same job as your mouth. The rotating fan of the motor creates a vacuum and begins to suck in air through the suction nozzle at the end of a pipe.

Any dust that comes within range of the suction of the nozzle gets pulled into the pipe and is collected in a bag. There is a filter inside that prevents the dirt that escapes from the bag, from entering the motor. The two main types of vacuum cleaners are ones with a canister with a pipe attached to it or an upright one whose suction nozzle is at the bottom of the canister itself.

The next time you come across a vacuum cleaner, ask an adult to help you turn it on. Find different materials such as paper clips, a couple of coins, and a small pile of dirt. Test how close you have to go to the material in order for it to reach the grasp of the suction power.

The motor in the vacuum cleaner sucks out the air inside the collection chamber thereby creating a vacuum inside. The air outside gets sucked into the chamber (high pressure to low pressure). The air takes the dust along with it which gets filtered into the dust bag in front of the chamber.

Statement of the Problem
The study is intended to provide an information of how the researchers can create a vacuum cleaner that would be useful, affordable, easy to use and can be found at home.

Specifically, it seeks to answer the following questions:
Is there a difference between “Recyclable Vacuum Cleaner” to the commercialized one?
Is it effective in easily cleaning different surfaces?
How long will our product last?
