Human Immunodeficiency Virus or Acquired Immunodeficiency Syndrome
HIV/ AIDS (Human Immunodeficiency Virus or Acquired Immunodeficiency Syndrome) is a major concerned in the world today, whereas they are as many as 2.5 million cases which involve persons that were infected by any of the following ways, blood contact generally during unprotected sex with infected persons and sharing needles or syringes contaminated with small quantities of blood from HIV positive persons. However, in this case, HIV/AIDS can be dealt with if we approach the matter with the moral framework of abstinence, avoiding pre marital & extra marital sex ,not being promiscuous and not giving in to ones sexual desires.

Abstaining is refraining from something by your own free will. However, by abstaining from sexual intercourse or any other activity that can cause you to contract the disease, abstinence would be the best way to prevent any person from catching the disease. In addition, abstaining would be a moral value as one would not be indulging in pre-marital sex which is religiously wrong.

The participation of Pre & Extra-Marital sex whereby in Pre-Marital sex, the individual has sex before marriage which is seen to be religiously wrong while in Extra Marital sex, the individual is married but is having sexual intercourse with someone else whereas it is also seen as adultery and religiously wrong. However, in this case, persons who do not participate in pre & extra marital sex would have a smaller risk of contracting HIV/AIDS whereby I assume that both the individuals in the relationship have been tested negative for HIV/AIDS, so therefore there is no other way that the individuals in the relationship can contract the disease unless they participated in any of the above acts such as sharing contaminated needles/syringes or having unprotected sex with someone infected either pre marital or extra marital.
