If that United States Marine Infantryman does not have proper Marine Corps issued gear accountability over himself, then he probably didn’t check the United States Marines Infantryman around him either.
The United States Marine Infantryman needs to have liability and proper gear accountability for his Marine Corps issued gear. If a problem happens repeatedly with that United States Marine Infantryman not having proper Marine Corps issued gear accountability then that United States Marine Infantryman needs to remediate. The United States Marine Infantryman that doesn’t have proper Marine Corps issued gear accountability is more likely not to be able to follow simpler orders assigned to him in combat on the battlefield and out of combat also. When United States Marines Infantryman fail to have constant proper Marine Corps issued gear accountability they will lose other traits.
The enemies can and will take advantage of a United States Marine Infantryman not having proper Marine Corps issued gear accountability. The enemies in Iraq have used United States Marines Infantryman Marine Corps issued gear against them in combat. The enemies in Iraq will continue doing this until there is one hundred percent proper Marine Corps issued gear accountability from all United States Marines Infantryman. There was an enemy sniper in Iraq that had a United States Marines Infantryman M16 rifle mounted with that United States Marines Infantryman ACOG RCO. The enemy sniper was using one that weapon to shoot our United States Marines Infantryman as well as other friendly troops with it. Situations like this mishap can be prevented if United States Marines keep constant proper Marine Corps issued gear accountability.
