The farmworkers’ movement became the catalyst for a revolution in the
way Mexicans would live and work in the United States due to the success of the UFW and the motivation it inspired.
There were three main attempts made by four different unions to
organize the oppressed farmworking communities in California but only Cesar
Chavez’s UFW succeeded.
