And also what are the benefits and limitations of Trans-Pacific Partnership since it’s highly controversial nowadays. The methodology used for this report is through the academic resources like peer reviewed journal articles that available from RMIT library and also some reliable resources from Google, such as congress report. There will be some significant benefits that will bring to the 12 involved Trans-Pacific Partnership Countries once the negotiation have completed, it will boost the economy in the Asia-Pacific region. However, there are some thorny issues that the Trans-Pacific Partnership negotiations are currently facing. The results of this research are listed and analysis some of the benefits and limitations. The report concludes that this deal will be a big economic and geopolitical win for all the 12 countries involved in the Trans-Pacific Partnership.

Conclusion Recommendations Reference list IntroductionThe Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) is a proposed free trade agreement between the United States and 11 other trading partners bordering the Pacific Ocean. The countries involved are responsible for 40% of the total world’s GDP (Gross Domestic Product). It’s expected to remove tariffs on goods and services, pull apart a lot of non-tariff barriers and accord all sorts of regulations between member nations (DePillis, 2013). Once approved, it would be bigger than the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA), which is currently the largest free trade area (Amadeo, 2015). Since the TPP became the most significant issue nowadays, what will the deal do and how it actually has been negotiated is extremely controversial. Some of the topics that discussed during the negotiation may bring huge benefits to the countries involved, however, there also some limitations. For example, for Japan and the United States, Japan joined the TPP not only helps recovery the economy, but also helps to improve the relationship between Japan and the United States. However, for Japan, is a double-edged sword, because it may bring some negative effects of economic and political of Japan. Another main point is that the fact they are being negotiated is in secret, which provoked the most debate. The purpose of this report seeks to discuss the benefits and limitation of the TPP. The report outlines what is the Trans-Pacific Partnership, and the main issue that currently been discussed related to TPP.
