Sure, at first, thinking of substituting the constraints of traditional classes for customizing a flexible online format seems great. None the less, are they as effective? How can a classroom formatted for internet utilization provide everything that he or she needs to succeed in learning? C. Thesis: Online classrooms are not an adequate replacement for the traditional physical classrooms. Traditional classrooms provide a better source of knowledge and communication, allowing students to better absorb the classroom materials.II. BodyPositive aspects of traditional classrooms, opposed to online learning environments, is the open communication between of professors and students.During online classrooms, the communication between professors and students is limited. The face to face relationship among students and professors allows for a more personal relationship; in return, students experience personal connections in a class and the material taught within.Furthermore, classmates can become learning tools themselves. When a student in a traditional class feel that he or she needs extra help than their professor can provide, they can form groups together.Traditional study groups, usually form by students sitting close in the room.Without a class setting, peer study groups may not form as easily.A traditional classroom setting will assist with the teaching of positive communication skills that are needed in a professional environment. Many careers require a person to work in a team setting.Without a traditional classroom to practice in, they may encounter communicative mishaps later.Speaking up in public is rarely comfortable for anyone, but it is an important part of being a productive citizen and employee. A third element a critic of online course may cite is the ease at which a student can be distracted.Online learning’s greatest distraction in the availability of the internet.Copy and paste answers from the internetThe art of self-discipline is uncommon in many students; and instructors, professors, peers and the desire to look good in front of others may lead to the focus needed for success. With traditional classrooms seeing your instructor keeps students motivated. Butts also discloses, “it is important that students who register for online courses have high levels of motivation and self-efficacy” (2013).III. Conclusion:For online classes to be effective, students must be self-sufficient, self-motivated, and independent. Many studies agree that because of the communication gaps, distractions, and the decreased motivation throughout semesters, online education may not be an effective teaching tool for many students. While students may also lose motivation in a traditional classroom setting instructors are more likely to spot it when that is happening and can get the extra attention required. Traditional classrooms are conducive to communication within the classroom, between the professors and students. The communication, motivation, and oversight provided in traditional classes make them the better choice for academic success.Jennifer Schultz Suzette GhentCM 102 AAG4 March 2017                                 Traditional Classrooms versus Online Classrooms There are over 20.5 million students that enroll in college each year (Fast Facts).
