What does the documentary Visionaries: Inside the Creative Mind teach you about fashion? At first, I thought the film was going to be about his life and how he got his business started but I was surprisingly impressed. Tom Ford didn’t have the easiest life growing up but his difficulties didn’t stop him from doing the things he loves. Named one of the most influential designer of world is no name given out to the simple man. He was hardworking, dedicated, and a perfectionist. For him professionalism is an ill, perfection is something you are born with. His dedication forced him to move from New Mexico to New York, in order to start his career as a brand. At age 30 he became Head Design Director of Gucci in 2003. With his eccentric personality and ideas it was no surprise he exceled quickly.
