Doing school assignments are repetitive and boring. Teachers, Instructors and Professors who expect us to do things within a day are crazy. The put these time constraints of a short period of time, and expect us to do research, write and turn it in within a twenty-four hour time limit. Who in the world (that has an actual life outside of school) could possibly do this ? A person with no outside life beyond school, that is who.
People enrolling in college usually on average have a life outside of college. Such as a family or a job to support themselves or family. I believe that college should understand that with all the outside pressures from the world we don;t need to be forced to do an assignment within 2 hours, unless it is an easy one that does not take a lot of effort. Otherwise how about giving us a little time up front to do the assignment more throughly. A syllabus could be handed out at the beginning of a course outling all the assignments and due dates and that would be a tremendous help to the student. With keeping in mind a reasonable time frame to turn the assignments in after receiving the syllabus.
Things could be a lot simpler in college if the Professors, instructors or teachers could just remember back to what it was like for them to be a college student and the stress that comes along with it. It would also cut down on the dropout rate in college.
