The Days of My Life
Many years ago I was born; it was the night of September 19, 1997 born to the people I call mom and dad whose names are Rene Thies and Deiondray Bennett, at this time. I grew up with young parents and often moved around during my first few years. When I was four years old my younger sister Seydi was born. Then by the time I was seven and Seydi was four our little sister Leah was born. Finally when I was ten years old my little brother Deiondray was born and that was the last of my siblings. At this point in my life we were in an apartment for the last time because my parents bought a house, back in the woods I might add. For this reason I am so at one with nature, I love it, I appreciate it with all of its natural beauty and its because I grew up with her. Being back in the woods was such a great experience it always was a place where you could just sit back and relax and not have to worry about anything even if its just a few minutes of peace, watching the sky, listening to the birds chirp, as you can feel the sun pressing against your cheeks. Being able to do this helped me so much with my education because its so much easier to learn, study, and do homework in peace. When you have this peace it is so much easier to work much more quickly which I tend to do because I like to get everything done so theres nothing else to worry about which I have done ever since I was a little girl. Since I am like this I grew to have a much more advanced mindset than most people in my age range which enabled me to grow to be a very driven, mature, dependable, and responsible person heading into their teen years and for the rest of my life.

At this point in my life I am a young teenager about fourteen years old. The summer before I turned fifteen, I got a job at a law firm in Atlantic City for two of the best named lawyers in the state, as a file clerk. During this time the economy isnt in the best shape and the unemployment rate is a little high with not a lot of money to go around. Under these circumstances my mother got me a job at the law office because she works there too as an accountant while my dad is a manager. This company was in need of extra help and I was there to give it to them during the point where they were trying to get rid of the paper documents and have it scanned into the computer because the law says that you have to keep a copy of the case for a certain number of years. Once in the computer with the vice presidents approval we can expedite the case and shred it. Being in this age of technology it never seems to cease improving, there is always something new and better than the last. A few years later I was about 17 when I thought seriously about joining the army. This was something so very serious and I wanted to pursue it because I thought of it as a way to help and giveback and in one way or another I am always doing that. When I talked to my parents about my thoughts on the army they werent very excited about it and they told me there are plenty of other things to do instead of the army to do good and giveback. The ways to give back I chose to do was to continue to volunteer at my local church and teach children about four and five years old about Christianity, which is my religion. For many of my teen years I did this and then I was done high school and it was time for me to leave home and go to college.

While I was all ready and excited to hit the road and head on the trail to my success I had to figure out to pay for my dream college and scholarships and a part time job was the answer. I was able to receive athletic and educational scholarships. My athletic scholarship came from rowing crew all four years in high school, while my educational scholarships came from the NSHSS, the society of high school scholars I was recruited to for having such good grades and the high level classes I took. This is how I payed for my dream college, which is NYU while going to this school I studied finance while majoring in economics. I went to school full time for four years and earned my masters degree by the time I was twenty four. The part time job I had as a waitress paid for my part of the apartment me and my two friends were renting it also helped me rent the books I needed for school. After graduation I stayed in New York and picked up extra hours at the coffee house I worked at to make a little extra money and while I was completing my shift I met a man. As I served him coffee I overheard his conversation to his boss and he was looking to recruit financial advisors for his company down in Florida. When he was done talking I told him about my degree and he gave me a resume. One week later got a call from someone at the office saying I got the job as a general financial advisor. Two weeks later I found myself packed up and heading home to stay for a couple days until I was able to move in to my new apartment. My brother and I drove down to Florida two days later and he stayed with me a couple of days to help me get settled in. once I was all unpacked the house was clean and my brother left there was nothing else to do but wait until the very next Monday to come so I can start my new job. When the day finally came Danny, the man I met in NYC, found me and introduced me to everyone and it was probably the best first day of my new career as a financial advisor anyone could have. I had a great time at this company over the next year when I decided to go back to school and get certified to be an expert financial
