There is many ways which technology has helped me learn independently. The internet though is the most important asset for me. The internet has grown so large and has endless amounts of information and with its fast speeds I can search, gather information quickly and effectively. When I am doing my homework it helps me so much for using the dictionary, math problems, research, and a whole lot more. Also I can do all this in the comfort of my own home which makes it even easier to learn independently.
Technical competence is very important for the technical professional and there are many ways to keep it. One strategy would be to have ethical responsibility and always make smart decisions. Another strategy is to always be learning from the company and from co workers and researching something if I need even more help with the task. A third strategy is to retain the ability to apply knowledge skillfully and with good judgment.
For becoming a successful technical/business professional I am going to choose to have many good strategies and not just one. I will keep a good work ethic, always be on time, and not slack off. Be able to manage difficult projects coupled with good planning and organizational skills. Be a good problem solver and have the ability to probe into details to find underlying issues. And always be efficient in meeting the deadlines of a project.
My immediate next step I am taking is of course to continue in school and continue getting good grades. But for me as a technical professional my next step I think would be to get my first technical job. The job Doesnt have to be something really big but just something small to start out with to get my foot in the door and to start with the responsibilities of a job. Also that would look good when I am trying to get a job with my degree.
