Taylor Swift (born December 13, 1989) is an American pop and country singer, songwriter and actress. In 2006, she recorded her first song “Tim McGraw,” which immediately became a hit. Swifts first album became multi-platinum in the United States.
Two years later, the singer released her second album, Fearless, spent eleven weeks on top of the Billboard 200, more than any other in 2000.
In her childhood, Taylor was greatly influenced by her grandmother who was an opera singer. At the age of ten, Taylor sang at a karaoke contest, festivals, and fairs taking place at her home town. At eleven, she went to Nashville with intention to record a demo. The same year, she performed the National Anthem at the opening of the Philadelphia Games – 76. Taylors parents strongly contributed to the development of her musical talent. Family began to regularly travel to Nashville to establish acquaintances in the music industry.
