Psychopathology At The Movie
The T.V. series House M.D. is what I choose to do an psychology evaluation on. The
following is an overview of the hit series. House, an innovative take on the medical
drama, it is a series in which the villain is a medical malady and the hero is an irreverent, controversial doctor who trusts no one, least of all his patients. Dr. Gregory House, devoid of a bedside manner and dealing with his own pain from a wrongly diagnosed leg injury who now uses a cane to walk due to muscle atrophy. He also abuses the prescription pain pill Vicodin and believes that without it he would not be a brilliant diagnostician whose unconventional thinking and ability to “see” inside the patients illness create a high demand for his services. House leads a team of experts who help him unravel diagnostic mysteries, they include Dr. Chris Taub, Dr. Remy Hadley, Dr. Robert Chase and Dr. Eric Foreman. He has a confidant and good friend in oncology specialist Dr. James Wilson, and maintains a somewhat volatile and undefined relationship with Dr. Lisa Cuddy, the Dean of Medicine and hospital administrator of Princeton Plainsboro Teaching Hospital.

House M.D. His behavior often borders on antisocial disorder, and clinical depression. He also had suffered from dissociative fugue stemming from a bus accident in which Dr. James Wilsons girlfriend lost her life. After the accident and the regain of his memory House suffered from hallucinations and delusions.
