Besides occupational exposure scenarios, exposures can also occur through air, dust, water, food, and using consumer and personal-care products. From all these sources, chemicals end up in the human body primarily via ingestion, inhalation, or dermal absorption (Clark et al. 2003)        The production of metal works has always been a large part of any industry within a country. These include products ranging from bed frames to window sills, as well specific orders for items such as car parts, and interior decor materials. With the advent of powder coating being a relatively more viable option due to it being able to produce higher quality coatings for metals, as well as wood, compared to standard paint coatings. For this particular reason, it has attracted the attention of consumers and industries.

The downside for this particular manufacturing process is the health concerns to the employees. With workers being directly exposed to the finely ground pigments and resin, there is a great issue on whether a worker would be able to continue being productive with the risk of attracting over exposure to the raw materials as well as the methods and manufacturing process. This raises concerns on whether a powder coating facility would be able to put into account the importance of worker health whilst maintaining the high-quality finish demanded by the process and raw materials of powder coating. The main purpose of the paper was to find a suitable system to cater to the current demands of the company, in this case, Amchem was in dire need of a new system that would be able to account for their inventory and bookkeeping system. As analyzed by the group, this system can be suitably placed under the use of different Enterprise Resource Systems (ERP).ERP solutions evolved from applications focused on materials requirements and resource planning and computer integrated manufacturing. The Enterprise Resource Planning term came about when software developers were searching for a name that would more aptly describe these broader systems. These new solutions provided functionality that encompassed other applications in addition to manufacturing.
