Because successful projects increase the odds for continued and success. The way that projects are executed in HP, allows the execution process can be repeated and can be improved to ensure the success of the organization

The selections criteria are used to determine “the best of the best” based on weights are given to the most important points of the projects. With the selection criteria, the projects that need significant resources and not meeting market strategies are discarded.

3. Considerable attention is paid to the measures HP uses to evaluate its projects. Is the aim of carefully defining these measures to simplify the project selection process or something else?

In addition to simplifying the process of project selection, the measures taken by HP are used to see how projects are aligned with the strategy of the organization and how long it would take its execution

4. What do the aggregate project plan and the plan of record illustrate to upper management?
Upper management is illustrated by the global project plan and the plan of record. The global project plan provides the financial resources to the plan of record and the plan of record is a tool used by some organizations in HP to keep track of all projects of the institution, listing all projects that are being implemented or are being examined.

5. When should out-plan projects be reconsidered for inclusion?
Should be reconsidered when there are policy changes, market or technological changes,
