He is also important for his economic stimulus legislation. Barack Obama was awarded the 2009 awarded the 2009 Nobel Peace Prize. Barack Obama received national attention during his campaign to represent Illinois in the United States Senate with his victory in the March Democratic Party Primary.                                                                       Four important facts about Barack Obama are:He is the 44th current president of the U.S.A.He was elected president on November 4, 2008.He was the first president to be born outside the continental of the United States.He was born in Honolulu, Hawaii on August 4,1961The contributions Barack Obama has made to his field are: 1.) He instituted enforcement for equal pay for women 2.) Beginning the withdrawal of U.S troops from Iraq 3.) Expanded the SCHIP program to cover healthcare for 4 million more children. 4.) Expanding vaccination programs 5.lower drug cost for seniors.I admire Barack Obama because, he is our president and I would like to know about our president. The things I admire about Barack Obama is that he is the first African American president. He also was the first president to be born outside of the continental of the U.S.
