The cover letter:
Chelsea is a famous soccer club in the world. Millions of fans are crazy about this team. Stanford Bridge stadium is the home field for Chelsea club. However, this stadium just contains 42,449 people. This old stadium is smaller than other famous soccer stadium. Therefore, the boss of Chelsea, Roman Abramovich, decides building a new stadium after discussing with board of directors. The boss hope that Chelsea soccer club will own a newly stadium, which would contains 66,000 people. He appoints me as the project manager and hope making balance budget for 5 years after the end of the project. I divide my team for five parts, which are designing department, technology department, construction department, data analysis department and financial department. I have a manager assistant to help me coordinating each department and making enough communication with each department.

The executive summary:
This project is a private project because Chelsea club invited my team to help them design and build this stadium. Therefore, the project has not to take bids. Meanwhile, Chelsea club has got permission from government to build the new stadium. The new stadium stands on an alluvial land near the West London’s Royal Docks. The new stadium could covers 66,000 fans, and it’s bigger than the old stadium. The new stadium is a modern and technical stadium and the project budget is $106,000,000. In sum, the project is design and build project and we will try our best to achieve goals.

The technical approach:
The first approach for us is to design the new stadium. 1.1 Concept of design: Chelsea club is a long history club in London. We need to design a modernization and technological stadium to replacing Stanford Bridge. Meanwhile, stadium theme is blue because “Blue Lion” represents Chelsea club. Inside the stadium, the color of seats is also blue. 1.2 Schematic: After we determine the concept of design, our team will draw the picture of the stadium. 1.3 Design development: Inside the stadium, we build floor-heating system below the grass because London’s cold winter has a bad effect on grass and matches. What’s more, we add sand to the soil to make it more porous. All lights and screen in the stadium are energy-efficiently and sustainable materials. 1.4 Construction documents: In design step, we need determine how to construct the stadium and draft a whole document. 1.5 Cost estimate: we will estimate all the expanses of the project.

Second step is preparing for the land. 2.1 Land selection: Our team will have a meeting to discuss where we could build the stadium. Finally, we could build on an alluvial land near the West London’s Royal Docks. 2.2 Cost estimate: Chelsea club want to sell the old stadium to get enough money building new stadium and they will sell
