It doesn’t matter on the apperiance of the god.The story of the three men and an elephant tells us that hindu’s worship the same god no matter what the god looks like, they all have different views on how the God looks and what they think about the god. The three men could not agree on one anothers thoughts because they did all not examine all of the elephant as a whole. so there can be different views on the elephant so none of the three blind men were wrong.

The arranged marrage is a contract between familys, but not between individuals. the parents of the son or daughter would often find the right match. the parents and older family tends to find the right pison for the son or daughter

Hinduism is a group of people who have arranged marriages but not to the same extent as other groups such as islam. Hindus believe that a marriage is based on more than physical or emotional attraction. At one stage Hindus were pretty strict about arranged marriages where the parents decision was final. When in a arranged marriage situation there is a lower expectation because neither side knows what to expect of the other person.

Both sides imagine the worse outcome but when they get to the marriage and meeting the other person things turn out better than what they originally thought and they are willing to stay in the marriage and to make it work and get to know there partner better.

When the parents arrange the marriage they will have found someone who is compatible so that the marriage will work. When the parents pick someone they are drawing from experience typically 20 years of married life and they went through the same procces.
