In the business world, ethics and social responsibility should always be at the top of the list for the company, but in the real world, it usually is not. Usually in major companies, a person falls victim to the decision to do wrong, and the major villain in that type of situation is money and power, and this is what makes people make decision that are morally and ethically wrong. For companies to protect themselves against those that have greed of money and power, they must have a strictly lined out list of rules and regulations. This will help eliminate any employee that is there to damage the company and not contribute to the success of the company by making ethical decisions (Jones, George, 2016).Rackley Oil and Their Business Decision        I recently stopped working for an oil wholesale company in my area known as Rackley Oil. At this company, we sale oil and gas for wholesale prices to privately owned businesses and independent own businesses. At our location, we have several mixers that process the oil and gas to make it suitable to use for the local and privately owned businesses. We have our own private company lab next door that comes up with the different oils and gas to sell to the clients.

Recently, a new oil and gas company came into the town, causing our customers to consider moving to the new company. The new company had all the newly renovated oil and gas materials to make oil and gas that is much cheaper for the clients, as well as to provide a new high-tech way for the clients to use the oil and gas. To keep our customers satisfied, the CEO and management of Rackley Oil decided to install a new processing lab to develop better oil and gas. Although this was a good decision, there are a lot of risks involved with the new lab. The new way would be very dangerous for the employees that are already there because of the seriousness of the oils and gases that are produced in the new lab. This would mean less jobs for the old employees, due to the hiring of employees that are trained in the profession. Ethical Implications Associated with Building a New Lab        The lab will cost millions of dollars to build. Not only will this be a very demanding and dangerous operation, this could emit tons of chemical emissions into the air in Starkville Mississippi. This lab can pose a huge potential ethical implication because some of the fumes that will flow through the lab will be very deadly, and if the lab was to explode, it would kill so many people in a 15-mile radius around the lab. The ethical implications would be deadly fumes and explosions in the lab.
