organizations based on a panethnic boundary were formed to serve the needs of the collective Asian American community.
In many cases organizations based on panethnic identities were organized in order to unite people, to protect them against discrimination, sexism, poverty an exploitation of minority groups and immigrants in the United States. In Unite States pan ethnic groups play a big role in politics. “…they are product of political and social process” They are designed for faster immigrant’s adaptation to host country, but not assimilation.

It is in political advantage to keep panethnicities not fully assimilated in the Unitted States. By being different than Americans and different between each other, they are great political power. As pan-ethnicities differentiate between each other, politics are able to create programs which are designed specifically to fit particular pan ethnicity group. We can see example of it now as democratic primaries go on. Often we see newspaper lines such as “Hillary Clinton winning votes of Latino-Americans” or Barak Abama will get more votes from African Americans”.

On a social level the goal of panethnicities is to stay together. Together they can more easily adapt to host country. They form organizations which can help them to find jobs, find living or fund education. They help to solve immigrant’s problems. In many cases host country is ignorant to those problems. That is why many people choose to come for help to their pan ethnicity groups. As they get help from those ethnic groups they stay closer to their group and have much less exposure to native born Americans. This makes their assimilation slower.

Panethnicities is great way
