Social disorganization is the falling away of control in which socially was obtained. How does social disorganization relate to organized crime        It was believed that social disorganization and organized crime was intertwined and that thought has not changed over time. Social disorganization is simply the loss and failure of organizations in society. This organization could be religious or a school for example, the failure in these types of organizations leads to social disorganization. If we look from a historical perspective we can see that social disorganization has led to organized crime as a consequence of failing organizations in society. If we look at the definition of “political machine” we can see that the meaning is it is a small organization that either has a boss or that is a limited members in a group. Political assistance gives hope to organized criminal groups. These political machines can often harbor or help organized criminal groups or terrorists by protecting them or giving them the necessary power.
