Dont you feel like youd be different than anyone else on this planet sometimes? I sure know I did. Having a talent in massaging, I remember my dad telling me that I should become a physical therapist, as well as many other people, and thinking to myself that it sounds like a pretty good idea. I mean helping other people recover is what I love. Im quite a nurturing person.

From the sixth grade to some of junior year, I thought that becoming a physical therapist was my thing and that Id never change to a different career. I truly thought that it was easy just to pick that one thing you love and stick to it. Wandering as the usual, I didnt grasp why the high-schoolers in my family were so stressed out about choosing a major. I mean, is it really that hard to figure out what you love and why you do? I didnt think so. I thought I was going to be one of those people who wouldnt have to second guess about my future.

Now that I am a high-schooler and beginning to discover all the other options in the world, Im considering some type of nursing. Its the passion of mine which makes me strive for caring of those in need. Emotions are strong and hard to fight, but talent is what youre called for. I understand that I still have a year or two to figure things out, but I want to start as early as possible. The unemployment rate, salary, and other changes around the world are scaring me away. I absolutely despite the phrase, “do what your heart tells you,” because eventually its going to be the brain that makes the decision. Not your heart
