Relationships; How Does It Work?Essay Preview: Relationships; How Does It Work?Report this essayRelationships; How does it work? When it comes to relationships, we are told by our significant others that we men have no clue. I still remember asking my significant other whether I met the expectations when it came to relationships. I remember her response was that a relationship, at times, could be compared to a job. When you work hard, it pays off in the long run. We continued to converse about relationships and what I interpreted out of our entire conversation was that a relationship has the similarities of a job. Also, to be in a good and healthy relationship, there needs to be honesty, trust, and compassion. Third, a relationship is a two-way street.

When you are searching for a job there is always a job description that comes along with the title of that job. When it comes to a relationship or marriage you are not handed down a description of what you are suppose to or not supposed to do. The first step in building a relationship is creating your own job description. Each person has a role and the more and more you get to know each other, you encounter what works and what doesnt in the relationship. In other words, a relationship is like “trial and error”. In the beginning, it may be almost perfect but as you continue to build on this relationship there may be things that need fixing. It is up to both individuals to know what their job is that needs fixing or mending. Additionally, it is each others responsibility to make each other happy if they want to keep the relationship alive and healthy.

What can an experienced ex-girlfriend or one of her girlfriends do to change your life or do someone good, how can you do anything when it comes to your job listing?

What has changed?
