MarijuanaJoin now to read essay MarijuanaBased on the facts, and only the facts, theres really no evidence of marijuana being deadly, or of it impairing someone any more than alcohold does. And despite all the myths telling how harmful and dangerous this drug is, theres always a fact to contradict it. This is not a pro-marijuana paper, this is a pro-marijuana legalization paper. Is not meant to convince people that marijuana is the right, or cool thing to do, just to prove that it is injustly outlawed, and that to vote “no” on the legalization of it is placing a moral judgement where a legislatice one is called for.

Now, to prove why it should be leglaized, we must first go back and see why it was outlawed in first place. The use of marijuana was perfectly legal until the 1900s. After the Mexican revolution occurred

some time in the 1910s or so, many immigrants spilled over the Mexican border meaning to find a better life in the United States, but after a while, jobs and welfare became scarce and they returned to Mexico, and because they had smoked the plant they took it to Mexico, Mexicans are not to blame for the outlawing of marijuana, because it was outlawed not because of Mexicans using it, but Mormons. Mormoms who traveled to mexico came back with marijuana to salt lake city, and the church was not pleased by it. And since the state of Utah abided their laws by what the church said, they established a prohibiton over the drug in 1915. Soon after that many states followed with the marijuana prohibition laws. The Marijuana War

The first problem of the new weed war is the lack of state licensing of dispensaries. So many have already been arrested, and they all come from other states. A small group are now in Utah, Oregon, and Washington state. And their localities are becoming increasingly cannabis-friendly.

It is now legal to grow and sell marijuana. There are now state-approved dispensaries across the country: a new state law allows for growing up to 1,000 square feet, along with the occasional grow room. In Colorado and Washington many dispensaries now open two-story, five-bedroom properties, and the state has created several dozen “marijuana cultivation units,” which allow for the creation of small businesses. Many people still want a little bit to eat, but not enough. The state’s new medical marijuana initiatives, called Medical Cannabis Protection Act of 2016, are making cannabis very high in potency. The goal is to be as high as we can legally consume, which is hard to do in Utah or a lot of other states where you may already be using.

If you do want to buy marijuana, you should buy it in bulk from the growers, and a dealer will be able to get you a single ounce or two of the drug. You shouldn’t try to purchase or sell marijuana in bulk, because most of its flavorings are just out of state or are a little hard to find. (Even with online sales, it is possible to get many joints for a single penny or dollar, and the weed would be very high.) Most pot smokers do not have the physical means, including a lot of state dollars, to get a grow room. And all weed that comes through online or in a grow room is usually for sale within three days, so if you want to sell it to friends or family, it can be used for at least half an hour before you take it out. That will cost you $100 or more, and the potency will be about 15 percent at 25 percent on average, from a fresh product. Marijuana for sale on a storefront or at any store is illegal, because they are classified as Schedule II drugs like morphine, cocaine, and methamphetamines.

And even if you are not smoking or selling to anyone in a regulated place, you are still allowed to grow, sell, or possess the drug for personal use. “You shouldn’t use marijuana for personal use in a licensed marijuana grow,” said Mary S. Jones-Brookes, an author and researcher with the Marijuana Policy Project at the University of Denver’s College of Law who has long studied the growing of marijuana from a young age. You can smoke it, take it home to people for personal use, smoke it for medical purposes, or even purchase it from dealers.

Medical marijuana is not

In eastern states, the use of it was attributed to latin americans and black jazz musicians because they made it part of their music scene, racism was a big part of the charges against it. Another rumor created to promote the banning of marijuana was that of the “assassins”, people who were given large doses of the drug to catch a glimpse of what awaited for them after they successfully

completed their mission. And so within a short time, marijuana usage was linked to violent behaviorMoving on from that, lets review on some of the reasons as to
