Do you know about the Native American tribes back in the 1700s? Well I am going to talk about two of them today. Also I am going to talk about their similarities and differences in the life now and in Native American days back then.            The first tribe I will be talking about is the Apalachee Tribe.             The Apalachee Tribe lived in the northern region of Florida.           Their diet consist of; Corn, Beans, Squash, Fish, Clams, Crabs, Oysters, Bear, Deer and Turkey; almost everything lol. They were hunters, fishers, farmers and gatherers.             Their houses were made from palm leaves and grass for the roofs, and the wall were made of mud and clay. The shape of their houses were usually round and curved. The center of the roof had a hole so that smoke would not be trapped in side them.            The clothing for the men were made of deer skin and the women clothing were made of woven Spanish moss and other plant. They also had winter clothing made from animal skin and fur.            They made weapons for hunting and fishing. They bows and arrows, spears and nets for fishing.

They also made pottery from clay to cook with and to separate different items.             The second tribe I will be talking about today is the Tequesta Tribe.             The Tequesta Tribe lived in the southern region of Florida.              Their diet consist of; Corn, Beans, Squash, Cat Fish/all fish, Clams, Crabs, Oysters, Bear, Deer and Turkey. They were hunters, fishers, farmers and gatherers.                Their houses were framed with sticks and branches and covered with grass and palm leaves. The roofs were also made with grass and palm leaves and the shape were usually round.            They made weapons for hunting and fishing. Their bows and arrows, spears and nets for fishing. They also made pottery from clay to cook with and to separate different items            The clothing for the men were made of deer skin and the women   clothing were made of woven Spanish moss and other plant.
