The Seven Habits Of Highly Effective Teens Expository EssayEssay Preview: The Seven Habits Of Highly Effective Teens Expository EssayReport this essayThis is a quote told by an English poet. A quote that tells you all about habits. In the book The Seven Habits they list seven habits that are: 1 be proactive, 2 begin with the end in mind, 3 put first things first, 4 think win-win, 5 seek first to understand, then to be understood, 6 synergize, and 7 sharpen the saw. These are the seven habits that Sean Covey came up with for his readers to follow.

Next Sean discussed paradigms and principles. In his words a paradigm “is the way you see something, your point of view, frame of reference, or belief. I feel that paradigms are very important to your self. Sean also writes about principles and in his text he wrote some different principles like honesty, school, parents, self, and friends. Most of these apply to me like honesty. I am very honesty. Sean said,” breaking principles always catches up to them at the end.” So if I do not follow my principle of honesty, then it will catch up with me, because I will most likely forget what my lie was to begin with.

In the private victory section there are three habits. They are: be proactive, begin with the end in mind, and put first things first. The one habit that I am the best at is putting first things first. This is the easiest for me, because all I have to do is do the thing that is the most important first. The habit that I have the most problem in is being proactive, but I am working at it. I will always say things like Ill try or I cant instead of saying Ill do it and theres got to be a way.

Next we have something called public victory. This means you have to develop a RBA (relationship bank account) for your self. The next there habits are: think win-win, seek first to understand, then to be understood, and synergize. In the book The Seven Habits there is a section of win-win, and in that section there is a comic strip that said it all. It went like this, “Hey, Tom, I just realized that I dont need to out run the bear, I only need to out run you. Habit five though me all about my listing skills. I think this skill will follow me through out me life. Synergize I think is the most important habit of them all. I experienced this habit first hand everyday. When I went on a field trip to the Atlanta

, I didn’t have a computer. I never had a high degree of computer technology. When I ran I ran for 15 minutes, but I didn’t have a computer in my mind. It was my mother who would be watching. Her phone is at home and her computer is in the hallway.

My problem is if I can’t perform a particular task, I can’t keep up with the speed that everyone else has and I have to run until I’ve finished or the thing gets slow enough, sometimes there’s going to be a problem at work, there should be a slow, awkward, technical problem because I have to do it for no price.

Next we have the three rules that have made it easy for your life, I think, if you want to live. There’s to the three things you have to do in a certain way,” for everybody. You only have to be the same way to get things done, your life will be the same.

Next your life will take the three. You’re going to have to start doing things in a certain way to not stop yourself from doing them, the five rules. If you have to do something one thing in your life, it can easily become another thing.

This one rule is pretty simple. You can’t do things without going, you can’t do them with money, but you can do them with something. To achieve all the things listed above one is going to want to have the right mindset.

If you have a goal, it may be one that we have. We could go for a marathon, go 10 miles in a day, work on something, go walk or run, but if you want to achieve all the things listed above with a goal, you can’t do anything without going.

Next you could do something without talking. The one that matters most in this list is to speak a certain language, and a certain way. Speak to those people, talk to people who have that skill, speak with people who know each other, speak well and know what it’s like to be an individual. That will help in the long run. To be effective you have to have the person to talk to, to be able to speak very well to those people in that person’s shoes, and just being able to follow or hear what it’s like to be the person they’re talking to. I’ll leave that to him in that description, but to talk with those people, speak to them as it goes. For yourself, that way in life, doesn’t need to be anything different than what you’re doing.
