My name is Travis Silver and after high school I plan on attending college at UNC Chapel hill. I chose this college because it offers Radiology. I really feel as if though a four-year institution is best for me. I would like to experience life outside of where I live. Also I want to be on my own as well. I will never be the one to say I don’t need anyone but also I won’t depend on others to give me anything. It’s best to earn it on your then for someone to do it for you.The personal characteristics of Radiology Technologist are willingness to listen and learn, adaptability, flexibility, self-reliance, team player, dependability, honesty, and comfortable confidence. You have to have the willingness to learn & listen because there is always something that you can do better and do carefully. Being able to adapt will help you a lot, your job is constantly evolving and you will always have multiple tasks to do. Flexibility is really someone who can spend time behind the desk one hour while actively treating patients the next. Self -reliance is about hospitals that need individuals who will motivate themselves to determine what needs to be done, and then get it done in a timely matter by taking the initiative and using a proactive approach assisting patients and the organization’s needs. Being a team player is assisting co-workers in need of help. Dependability is just being someone who can get the job done no matter what. Last but not least honesty is just being responsible for yourself.
