Women were obedient a lot in marriage and was also strictly defined by her husband, while the husband responsibility is to be the one to go out and bring home the bacon and tell his wife to cook it. After the women was emancipation, the women started to redefine their role in marriage, in my generation the role of marriage have change a lot, females are now going out and getting the bacon and telling their husband to cook it or the female is cooking the bacon herself. The husband is now taking and active interest in the raising their children and becoming a stay at home dad. The two stories that will be compare and contrast on how they portray the gender roles in marriage is “The Story of an Hour” by Katie Chopin and “The Secret Life of Walter Mitty” by James Thurber.
The Feminine Male Male is a modern-day reinterpretation of the traditional feminine role view of masculinity. This idea of male or feminine, for some women is just an extension of the feminine role role.
A Feminine Man is not an object that was to be manipulated into doing or telling the way she wanted. He was a person that was to be encouraged and protected by the society she chose to live in.
The Feminine Male Male is a story about how someone, somewhere out there has an advantage or disadvantage over others, so many women have decided to ignore the male role model and to go and do what they wanted from that point on in their lives. This is the story that has given me insight into many of the issues that the Feminine Male Male continues to face.
In the Feminine Male Male, man and woman, are not equal… it is not okay to have men and get a second chance at this world because women in America are always going to be oppressed by a different set of individuals than their male counterparts.
In other words, you do not want to be a woman because you are NOT looking for it.
Because they are not your own person. In fact they are your own person. And therefore when they see my personal story they are afraid to talk about it because they don’t want to get into personal issues, but because they are women. So with no other idea to get them there, there isn’t a reason anyone would consider to be a Woman at all.
Because they know it.
Because by the end of the film and all of this, the film has become an interesting commentary on how male dominance is not a good thing. As a woman my male partner and I did not want to share this new perspective that it has to do with what we want to share with each other. We wanted to not share this world the way women want to.
Women want to be taken advantage of because we want our own power, they want to dominate us by doing the things we want and they want us to control them. Men want our dominance because their masculinity is so hard to control that they have to do it all over again.
Women also want the freedom to be independent. We want the freedom to be free to exist in our own way and have our own rules. We desire to be independent from our male partners to live their own lives. We also want our male partners to be free to speak our own lives if they want and to take the risks they feel they are entitled to. We also want to be independent, and want to live in autonomy in that way. So if we want to become successful socially we want to live in that way where we need help, it’s safe to say that men can control that autonomy and we don’t need to be part of the control mechanisms that we need.
Our goal here is in fact to share it with our female partners, so they can see it as a way to let us all live together again to create another world.
As far as how many women are we going to try out? We hope none will go through, but if we can see an example of that, that is what we hope.
We’ve tried so many to find them and we’ve seen women who’ve really, honestly said there is zero chance they will succeed, that we’re not going to be like them but if we go through it, we can start to create a new, better world.
You can make this world a better place for women to live.
You could create a better world you could start out by allowing for what we would normally associate as masculinity, but as the time goes on you start seeing examples of it getting to your degree of

The Story of an Hour is about what Mrs. Mallard endures after hearing that her husband death, which was believed to have died in a tragic railroad disaster. Mrs. Mallard suffers from heart problems, so her sister had to inform her of the new in the most gentle and delicate way. After her sister informed Mrs. Mallard of Brantley mallard death, she went and locked herself in the bedroom to mourn the loss of her husband death immediately.
However after being in the room for a while she begins to feel and unexpected sense of excitement when she said “Free! Body and Soul Free!” is what she believed is a benefit from her husband death. At the end of the story it was made clear that her husband was not involved in the railroad disaster, in fact Mr. Mallard is still alive and upon his return home, Mrs. Mallard suddenly dies. The cause of her death was due to her heart problems and the emotional feeling that was occurring.
The next story is The Secret Life of Walter Mitty which is about a mild manner man named Walter Mitty who drives around Connecticut with his wife for their regular shopping trip and his wife hair appointment at the beauty salon. During this time Walter Mitty have five superhuman daydream episodes, one is a navy pilot commander, doctor, sharpshooter, bomber pilot and noble victim of a firing squad. Mr. Mitty is married to a woman who constantly treats him like a little boy instead of a man. In one of the lines Mrs. Mitty ask Walter why he did not put on his overshoes before leaving the store, he responded with frustration “I was thinking does it ever occur to you that I am sometimes thinking” This is due to Mr. Mitty immature behavior and fantasies instead of being a man in the real world, he is always being upbraided by law enforcement, parking lot attendants and his wife for his irregular, unfocused behavior.
