In the movie “Crash”, there was a lot of discrimination against not only different races, but different genders as well. Each and every person in this movie that had prejudices all intertwined and had to face the people that they had prejudice against, and put it aside to do the right thing. I think that this movie also showed that no matter what rank someone held in the community, whether a police officer, a district attorney, a movie producer, a store owner, a locksmith, or just a criminal they had to put aside their own personal beliefs for what was morally right in the end.

“Crash”, to me, depicted at least two amendments being violated by the police officers. The first is the fourth amendment: search and seizure. I feel that this amendment was violated because when the police officers stopped the husband and wife, the cop searched the woman without any probable cause and he also touched her in unlawful ways. He used his power to scare the husband in to allowing him to do this to his wife. The second amendment I felt was violated was the ninth amendment: Unenumerated rights. This amendment is to protect the rights that are not listed within the Bill of Rights. I feel that this amendment was violated many times through-out this movie by the police officers, because they never had the rights of anybody in mind. Like I had said before they used their authority to bully people.
