Chapter IIntroduction Romantic relationships are a major developmental milestone. They come with all the other changes going on during adolescence physical, social and emotional. And they’re linked to your child’s growing interest in body image and looks, independence and privacy. It is when the chemicals in your brain kick in and you feel an emotional high, passion and elation when you and yoyr lover are together. Friends may find themselves attracted to each other in ways they were not before, and they may become closer, or grow apart. (www.pamf.org)Sadly, as the relationships changes especially in the area of romance, romantic relationships involves break-ups and broken hearts. As to make things worse, teenage break-ups might be played out in public, maybe at school, or online on social networking websites. And here where the concept of “Walang Forever” started. It happens when someone is experiencing or experienced break-ups or even having a hard time in a relationship. When we are in pain, it is a bad time to start trying to become important to someone. And once we are in pain, we may quickly become bitter. (Romantic Relationships.eqi.org) Bitterness usually felt by someone who has bad experiences. This was felt most commonly in romantic relationships and by those who experienced unjust treatment, been hurt or angry.Romantic relationships bring lots of ups and downs to people or teenagers nowadays. Conceptual FrameworkThe profile of the Respondents identifies how the Teenagers from the Catholic schools and from other schools will describe the factors that influenced them in their concept of romantic relationship. The conclusion was based on their level of understanding on: love, romantic relationships, marriage and on the concept of forever.

Statement of the ProblemThis study aims to discover the factors that influence the teenagers in their concept of romantic relationship.Specifically it aims to answer the following :What is the profile of the respondents in terms in terms of1.1 age1.2 gender1.3 no. of previous relationship1.4 average months of previous relationship1.5 current schoolHow can the respondents be described in terms of the following :2.1 level of understanding on love2.2 level of understanding on romantic relationship2.3 level of understanding on marriage2.4 level of understanding on the concept of forever3. Is there a significant difference between the profile of the respondents and their level of understanding on love, romantic relationships, marriage, and the concept of forever.HypothesisThere is no significant difference between the profile of the respondents and the factors that influenced the teenagers in their concept of romantic relationship.AssumptionIt is assumed used in this study answers to the questionnaires that comes from the respondents are accurate and reliable.
