The natural role of engineers consists in solving the real-world problems of society. To resolve the basic needs by attempting to produce practical tools to enhance the life in the world, through the use of laid down scientific theories and laws.
The engineers urge for a better life forced them to dive into real inventions that has eventually changed our world today. These changes prove that engineers serve important social roles.
Since the age where only simple tools exists, engineers started to make their mark in history by creating the first machines and processes that contributed to the improvement in the life of mankind – the discovery of the micro-organisms and cures to humans cursed diseases, to the life-saving inventions that also made constructions easier, and the sight of the limitless space – until today in the present century, the engineers still continues to invent and innovate machines that lightens the work of the different fields of work; develop advanced medicines to fight the deathly illnesses threatening the world; and constructing efficient buildings to alleviate and solving the global-environmental and socio-economic problems through their knowledge and skills.
Engineers work on many different and diverse specializations, but they all create solutions for different areas of human life.
Participating in the refining of petroleum, production of biomolecules, fermentation processes and many other scientific procedures are roles of chemical engineers. They use physics, chemistry and biology to perform chemical processes for purposes of aiding mans life.
