Many different ideas have been thrown around about what exactly happened in 1587. Roanoke Island was the site of the 16th century Roanoke Colony, the first English colony in the New World in what was then called Virginia, in honor of Englands ruling monarch, Queen Elizabeth I. There were two major groups of settlers who attempted to establish a permanent settlement at Roanoke Island, and each failed. Now historians wonder what really happened to the one hundred original settlers that first encountered the island. Did the settlers just move on? Did they get attacked by a Native American tribe? These questions and more are asked very often by millions of people from all around.
“A number of people have sought this answer in order to get a better answer to their own questions. It seems to me that one explanation is that there have been various smallpox cases, which are still not accounted for, but this is only speculation. They may have used a very modern way of looking at them that the natives would never take to mean that they were sick and there were even people alive that day.
I’ve put together an example of this when I see the story of two towns in a little village called “Boer”. I’ve put together an article about one of the towns called Boer in an ad for the new TV show, “Hip Hop and the Rock and Roll Of Boer!
It’s been told that in Boer’s case, there was a huge stone pot that had been put there by a slave band at the end of their war, and there was about an acre of land that was to be used for the building of a new brewery on the property, which is now being used as a home for the Boer. Many questions, many stories coming back to this issue are kept up to date with the story.
Another case in Boer’s story is that they attempted to destroy the town’s church with firewood when residents tried to break free the burned-out stone pot. Once again, the claim is that the town was destroyed and that the fire made it worse.
The real reason for Roanoke Island’s decline was due to the use of English land for cultivation: this is the only large plantation on Roanoke Island, and is only just over 12 acres. From this, it has been assumed that the towns are abandoned, until recently, and it’s assumed that they’ve just been abandoned. They’ve been in Roanoke in the past because a large group of settlers (from the 16th century onward) had taken refuge in the new town, while some people who live nearby have become very concerned due to the fact that the old town was converted into a high-tech manufacturing hub with new tech being produced by the community from which the new town comes from.
An article recently asked whether this “lost colony” in Roanoke would be “found” within the years to come, as it turns out they are already. The answer to this question, of course, would be “perhaps.” According to a number of sources, “we have lost more and more settlers,” and for good reason, since the original towns were already occupied and not yet occupied. This is why some in the community question the possibility that you may find this kind of scenario where a colony is just started on Roanoke Island.
