There are so many risks to breast cancer with many causes as to why
you could get it.
Today I will be talking to you about the major risks and factors of
breast cancer:
* Being a woman is the main risk. While men also get the disease, it is about
100 times more common in women than men,
* Age: breast cancer becomes more risky depending on how old you are. Breast
Cancer increases 8 times higher in women who are over the age of 50 to the
comparison with the woman who are 30 years old.
* Previous breast cancer: woman who had breast cancer have a huge chance of
developing it in the other breast.
* Family history: breast cancer could be a genetic, 15% of women get it from
family being developed with breast cancer. That leaves 85% of all the other
women to be diagnosed with cancer without any history of breast cancer in
their family. 15% may be a small percentage but woman who have first
degree relative like a mother, or sister, have the risk two times higher.
* Hormones: breast cancer is a high risk to the women who have long exposures
to sex hormones. Breast cancer is increased in the women who have early
menstrual cycle( before the age of 12), late menopause, no pregnancies,
late pregnancies, and birth control pills.
* Breast tissue: increase of breast cancer increases when the breast
tissue shows characteristics such as: complex fi-bro-add-no-ma,
hy-per-play-ga, and Atypia.
Complex fi-bro-add-no-ma is a tumour usually found in young woman. Usually
Diagnosed by ultra sound.( figure 1)
hy-per-play-ga is extra sells in organs or tissues, this usually just
causes some inflammation in breast and make the breast larger when
breastfeeding.
Atypia is ab*nor*mal*i*ty in a cell, when the cell is abnormal it
affects the tissue and causes the complex fi-bro-add-no-ma and
