One evening, I and many others were caught dancing in the forest with Tituba.  After that night Betty and Ruth fell into a strange coma. Reverend Parris walks in the room by Betty’s side and prays for her to wake up. Abby is also worrying she smacks and screams at Betty for her to wake up cause she knows she is faking. Reverend Parris comes back and tells Abby he claimed to see girls dancing in the woods and Abby says there was no such thing. He also asked why have you been kicked out of the proctors house and she says Elizabeth wants her to be the slave of her house, knowing she lied she was kicked because she slept with her husband. After that me and Mercy Lewis walks in and Abigail tells us about the situation in front of us. I walked nervous worrying that Abby told Reverend Parris about are activities last night. Betty wakes up and starts to cry for her mother  but she knows her mother is dead. She tells Abby that she saw her drink chicken blood and did it as a charm to kill Elizabeth Proctor so she can have John Proctor to herself. Abigail strikes Betty across the face and threatens the girls that  if we say  anything she will kill us. Betty falls back into her strange sleep.[pic 1]In comes the person I work for and he threatens to beat me if I leave the house again. John Proctor has come to tell Abby that there will be nothing between them so leave him and his family alone. He declares that he made no promises during their affair. Abigail cries that there is still a place in her heart where she declares love, but proctor still denies it. Betty starts to cover her ears and collapse to hysterics and everyone rushes back upstairs. Mrs.Putman says that’s Betty is bewitched and cannot hear the Lords name. Rebecca Nurse walks in with her husband Francis Nurse, Rebecca comes in and stands over Betty and quiets her in a gentle presence. She assures them Ruth and Betty are probably suffering from a childish fit. Mrs.Putman still believes that it is witchcraft and starts carrying on about how she lost her children to death. Rebecca nurse continues to explain that they are not bewitched.  Reverend Parris is calling a meeting in the church to explain what is going and who he has to solve it. The witchcraft has to be solved in Salem.[pic 2]A man has arrived name Reverend Hale who studies witchcraft extensively. He arrives at Parris home with a lot of books. Hale begins to ask Proctor and Giles if they have afflicted children and Proctor states that he does not believe in witchcraft. Reverend hale walks in the house and instantly ask where is the girl, so he can examine her. Parris tells Hale that he saw girls dancing in the woods at night and we know he was talking about us. Everyone starts talking about there experiences in talking to spirits. Reverend Hale goes straight to Abigail and ask about the

situation, and she said it had nothing to do with witchcraft. she did not call on the devil Tituba did is what she claims. She blamed Tituba!  Abby blamed her! She blamed her of witchcraft after Betty tried to leap out of her bedroom window. Abby said Tituba had made her laugh out during church and made her drink chicken blood. [pic 3] She is lying saying that she is protecting us but if we tell the truth I know the punishment will Be  less worse than if they find out that we lied. They might even dismiss it as youthful mischief. What’s worse is that Tituba gave in she said she made a compact with the Devil. She told Reverend Hale that The Devil came to her with a book. She said there were six names in the book, but she could read only two Goody Osborn and Goody Good. Abby started to claim that The Devil came to her as well and tried to make her sign. She said she saw Sarah Good and Sarah Osborn side by side with The Devil. The other girls claimed that as well and in the all excitement I claimed I saw them also. I had to Abby would turn on me if I didn’t.  Now Tituba will be whooped because of us. Would tell Abby to stop all of this nonsense and to confess that Tituba and the rest of us were just dancing in the forest and that there was no bewitching going on. Abby is becoming a snake in  Salem. On a very chilly day I celebrated my eighteenth year. Goody Proctor gave me a new sewing kit. The needle was brand new and not in the least dull it sparkled and shined in the light. Along with it she gave me a whole roll of sturdy black twine. She is so kind to me I will be sure to put it to good use. I only wish that the day of my birth could be a bit more happy but with all that is happening in the court I cannot find myself smiling for more than a minute. More and more people are being accused and more and more are presented with cold iron bracelets and some meet the acquaintance of a harsh bristled noose. I can’t express the guilt I feel for condemning innocent people to a life in a dark lonely cell. Having them feel the grip of death as that bristled snake constricts around their neck. It has come to the point that people are accusing others just for their land. They’re exploiting the matter to their favor. The only way to free themselves of screaming accusations is if they confess to compacting with Lucifer.[pic 4]John Proctor sits down to dinner with his wife, Elizabeth. Me, their servant, has gone to the witch trials, defying Elizabeth’s order that i remain in the house. Fourteen people are now in jail. If these accused witches do not confess, they will be hanged. Abigail and her troop name as they go into hysterics is arrested for bewitching the girls. Proctor can barely believe the
