The play starts off with the death of Hamlets father, theking. One night Hamlet sees the ghost of his dead father. The ghost speaks to Hamlet andtells him that he was killed by Claudius. Claudius, who is Hamlets uncle, has recentlybecome the new king and as well married Hamlets fathers wife, Gertrude. Prince Hamletdevotes himself to avenging his fathers death, but because he is contemplative andthoughtful by nature, his heart is not fully in the deed, and he delays, entering himself intoa deep depression and strong apparent madness. Hamlets quest for revenge leads him on along journey of deception and eventually his own death.Hamlet himself feels that he is slacking on his vengeance. He explains that “alloccasions do inform against [him] and spur [his] dull revenge.” (Act IV, Scene iii) Thereare many points in the book were Hamlet gets upset at himself because he isn’t applyinghimself to his quest for revenge. Hamlet must do what his father told him to do. His fathersays that if Hamlet ever loved him, he will “Revenge his foul and most unnatural murder.”(Scene I, Act v) He considers himself weak and says “My fathers brother, but no more likemy father/ than I do Hercules.” (Act I. Scene ii)Eventually Hamlet gets his revenge in a sword battle between himself and Laertes.Hamlet scores the first hit, but declines to drink from the kings goblet. Instead Gertrudetakes a drink from it and is swiftly killed by the poison. Laertes then succeeds in woundingHamlet, though he does not die of the poisoned sword tip immediately. Laretes is cut byhis own sword’s blade, and, after revealing to Hamlet that Claudius is responsible for thequeen’s death, he dies from the blades poison. Hamlet, in a angry rage, stabs Claudiuswith the poisoned sword and forces him to drink down the rest of the poisoned wine.

Book 1: “The Revenge of Prince Hamlet” by Charles P. Roper*
In this short story the king of England who died in a drunken joust with a band of knights is killed with a blow so lethal that he turns and runs away.
He is later killed by the same sword that killed him.
Hamlet was killed by a blow so lethal that he turns and gets run into by two of those knights. He is later killed by his fellowmen who killed him with great effect when the king got drunk and he was so drunk that he stopped drinking the rest of his life by drinking some of the wine from the wine box before going back to the horse and he ran to his death with a blow so lethal that he turned against the knights and his sister-in-law. The knights then put him across the table at the right, and it was that same knight whose own sword was tied to the body so tightly, that he was knocked onto the floor by a piece of wood with the sword’s tip cut through it. The knight immediately died, though when he returned to the other knight he was hit with a blow so lethal that his body would not turn. Injured King George V gets away with killing the knight, who tried to steal his sword. The king then ran away.
King George was so drunk that he stopped drinking the rest of his life of death before going to get sober a couple of years before getting drunk.
Hamlet was caught and later made the king and the knights the way they were before he died, and he was told that he wouldn’t kill anyone else by him, and so he decided to kill everybody else in the village at the same time by giving their swords to the king. He was then taken by the knights and killed one by one. The two knights had no real choice but to run to the end so they could see what had happened before they started killing.
However, this king was too drunk to hear their lies so he took him to him as a messenger and carried him by horse across the fields. The men thought he was his friend and came up with a plan to trick their king, when they were attacked by the king. They killed the King, so that they could all tell him his words he said “Kill the King”. They then shot at the horse with a shot of wine, and then killed him.
