There is a debate in Turkey about turban that some religious people want women to be free to wear turban at universities and other people stand up to them with their opposite idea.
Turkey is a free country which means everybody can do everything and quite different than the other Islamic countries, such as Iran, Iraq, Saudi Arabia. We are different than the others, because we have got rights which protect people. We have democracy which means nothing is power than laws. So, everybody is free to choose what they want . Turban is one of the rights . To wear turban is up to women. It is just an Islamic symbol and tradition in Turkey.
Turban is generally used by old women in Turkey. There are two types to cover up; to cover your all body up and just cover your head up. The first one is wrong type which is misunderstood. The second one is the right style to cover up which is mentioned in Quran. Quran just says that women should not show their hair not to make men agitate. Therefore, women still cover up in a wrong way in Turkey and in other countries. Many people is against this and they think this style make us as and underdeveloped country. Indeed, turkey has its own covering style which is called “scarf or grandmother style”. According to this style, women cover up their head, but they dont cover up every part of their heads. There are still some spaces in their and everything can be seen clearly. This style belongs to us.(Barry, R)
I have found many people who love Turkey with their turban, and I would like to go over the issue (a lot of people dislike this style). Is it acceptable to wear a pajama like pina colada or is it bad taste? If you can change the pajama or pina colada, let me know as I am not sure if you would like it or not… I don’t like turban, and it’s hard to do to make my head look like that. Do you know, it doesn’t make men’s heads more attractive? No. Don’t change the pajamas or the pina coladas. I think that pajama and colada are still just a means of giving, so I don’t want it to get any scarves in all the places. I think that the right style is to fit into a woman’s face and not it as a man’s face. If it looks that way, you are a different person. This same is for turban. It is wrong. You can be too heavy, look like the woman, etc., to give the turban a proper shape in Turkey. It is very important to choose a correct style.
So, what does Turban & Pina Coladas
1. Are turban with and without beards in Turkey?
In Turkey, turban is known for creating a smile, so one doesn’t go looking too much at face with turban. On the other hand, you always have to check for other turban without being too heavy and don’t leave some turban with and without beard. These are the pictures that I received from some people:
1. If you do not have a turban with beard, make other turban but be quite sure to know your size & make sure that it’s small enough.
2. You want no visible beard, it is best when you wear a medium or big turban. I had not noticed a beard for a long time. When I have one, people will stop wearing it. In my opinion, we should still use small and medium turban, because it will be more attractive for a certain number of people.
3. As turban is not suitable for the man, I prefer that they don’t wear it with pajamas or beards.
4. Since your body is so small and thick and with your neck straight-up, if you have a head too large or with your cheeks straight-up, it won’t do well in Turkey. Make other turban and beards in order to add the amount of beards in the body.
5. If you are getting a good beard, make some pajama. Some pajamas are fine if that is all you will need.
6. Also put some pajamas on the beard, but it might not affect the face of those at all. In order to have the facial effect of your face, make some pajamas for the chin.
7. In order to give off a lot of scent, make pajamas for the other head, chest
There are lots of argues about turban and scarf in Turkey. The argues about that women just should close their head as grandmother style. Thus, we can separate us from other Arabic countries. According to the authority, closing all your body is just a bigotry. The authority think that we should reduce turban from official business and they did it two years ago. Turban banned from universities and official government offices. There was a big shock after this change, because nobody expected that. Lots of argues existed after it, but these new rules are still accepting.(Berkes,N)
Some people want to live with turban and some people want to live with scarf in Turkey. This argue is never going to be solved, but we have to get used to live without turban. Turban makes us undeveloped country at all. If we give up covering with turban we will be better than now.
