Christopher Boone is a very unique character. Christopher has a mild form of autism, which restrains him from understanding everyone and everything in the real world, outside of his extreme likes and dislikes. He is very good in school, especially math, but cannot interpret peoples emotions and feelings properly. Through his eyes, jokes and sarcasm are confusing, and new people and places scare him.
Christopher changed a lot during the course of the novel. He becomes more adapted to the outside world, with all of his “adventures” he goes on, which include him finding out who killed Wellington and going to London to find his mother by himself.
