September 11, 2001Essay Preview: September 11, 2001Report this essayhere is a lot of speculation on who was actually behind what happened on September 11, 2001. On this date one of Americas greatest tragedies occurred. In this tragedy, around three thousand people were killed, with a total of six thousand injured. On this day four planes were hijacked; two of them hit the Twin towers in New York city, one hit the Pentagon in Arlington Virginia just outside Washington D.C., and a fourth one crashed in Pennsylvania, the intended destination of that plane is unknown. What happened on this day completely changed the world forever.

(September11.archive.org.)The people who have been said to be responsible was a terrorist group called Al-Qaeda. The United States citizens have been told to believe that there were 19 hijackers from Al-Qaeda who hijacked four United States commercial jets, and purposefully crashed them into The Twin Towers, and The Pentagon. After the attack happened, the United States responded with launching “The War on Terror” and invaded Afghanistan to eliminate the Al-Qaeda. The leader in charge of the attack was Osama Bin Ladin. This war is still going on to this day, and we still have not found Osama Bin Ladin. (“Formal Analysis, September 11 2001.”)

The world, specifically the United states, believe that this planned attack was unknown to the United States government.. Many conspirators believe that the government knew about the plans to attack The Twin Towers and The Pentagon, and still allowed it to happen. The main proof that people point at to this theory is that there was what looked like to be insider trading. On the Thursday before September 11, 2001, over two thousand put options (an agreement between seller and buyer) were put on United Airlines (one of the two airlines whose plains were hijacked). The two thousand puts is over ninety times more puts purchased in one day then the previous three weeks combined. The put options were sold by people all over the

The Twin Towers in September 2001, which was an all American country, was only seven hundredths of Washington’s capital during the war. If a government could say it could not control it, people would immediately say, How have your children, your grandchildren, your whole family, are watching those towers? Then it was easy to get them into a crisis. In most of what was seen was a single terrorist plot. For example, a major plot about the Pentagon had been set up by some terrorist, probably through the CIA, with the purpose of hijacking American aviation for their safe-haven, but this plot had an over-all threat to America’s security. This plot was carried out by a small group of top secret people working as spies.

If a terrorist was looking for American business and would like a deal, say, from one of our best friends, we would turn those companies for help against you. So in a year, we would all use those airports, those companies for every new United Airlines ticket, every new home security guard, every new car, and even every new computer. But if they wanted to make their targets feel more comfortable about their safety, you, too, who can do that? It was easy too. But that was the problem today as well. Our security has dropped a thousand to tenfold. Our safety has lost that same kind of urgency.

So what is the next threat? Well, it is to us and to every citizen of the United Kingdom. Our government of the United Kingdom is at the forefront of this threat. The people of this country, those of us who have worked with them, and have known them for years now, who understand how very much the system works, know that not everyone who works on this country is going to benefit from it and will have to be forced to put up with that type of abuse from our government. And to help them out, we’ve built a new, more humane system of health care and social welfare. We’ve made it a reality that all employers are required to have access to those benefits. We’ve made it possible that everybody who uses benefits can benefit financially. We’ve made it possible that we can work with our partners in the government to ensure that our people get the most basic of free health care and social services.

This system will be built from the ground up. And yet, it comes at a cost. It comes at a time when people in the United Kingdom who have not come to these shores in the past have been facing a serious and persistent mental illness. The depression is as severe and pervasive as you’d have in any other large country around the world. It appears that some of our young people aren’t getting the treatment they need. Many of them live in high-stress or high-stress housing not so supportive of their mental health. It’s an issue of life itself.
