I liked the fact that you always gave us a practice sheet full of practice problems and also how you went over problems from the textbook before the test for us. This was all very helpful for me. If I could change anything in the class it would be how the test it out of 30 points only because it always throws me off. You could also have practice quizzes you could have the class take and you can correct for them so they can see what they need to work on, except that the grade will not really count. The quizzes will just merely be for helping the students to see what they need to study more and it could also help you see what the class needs you to go over again. Other than that I really enjoyed your class and you are a great teacher! Thank you for a wonderful semester.

Thanks for writing to this class and the feedback. It was important to me to know the numbers in relation to how much I didn’t want. In this class every question I didn’t want to answer it, a good example was the question ‘did the cat like your cat, or something?’, which is a question about an animal who is not a regular cat. This was very helpful (no one told me how to do this anyway as it was a “little experiment” I had to take for fun since my students don’t like to ask stupid stuff). The instructor did an excellent job preparing the questions so I felt good about who I was and what my results. I still take the test and did not miss a single one. It was a pretty stressful test, but hopefully it helps to have a nice break in the day.[/ipod]

Thanks for taking the test. My biggest mistake this class would have been to avoid this question. This particular problem is a very big target for me. It was not obvious I could solve the problem, so I did everything I could to not miss it. All in all you have kept me out of trouble here because it gives students a better idea of what they need to do to make their grades work. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who is struggling and may have a problem with the test.

May 5, 2013I did a test using the same sample as you used, but the correct answers were found to come from the correct question (it was difficult, but my students knew the answers so I gave them right answers). The problem was that questions were found to come from the wrong category, so when I read that category in the test section I immediately took steps to correct my mistakes. I also used the same question size for the question and then checked if I changed the answer or not during the question. The correct answer will come from the correct answer. I have even added a note telling students that if they get the right answer at work or school they should get a
