In what way did Bandura extend the work of Skinner?
Bandura build on the work that skinner started on imitation and how it leads to, the reinforces the child looked for his also carried it further by stated that a new behavior be learn by observing. (Green & Piel 2010)

Please define Positive Reinforcement and Reinforcement Delay, giving an example of your own for each.
Positive Reinforcement is the giving of something to increase a wanted behavior. That “something” can be tangible or intangible like food or toys, or a privilege or praise. EX: one thing I do with the young class is have a poster up with each name and give points for acceptable class room behavior at the end of the day you will be able to get a prize from the class chest. Reinforcement Delay is when you have time between a behavior to a later reinforcement, in this case I will give a pizza party at the end of the week for everyone who turn in all their work for that week, or let the younger children go to the game room at the end of the “power hour” if all home work is completed.

What does current research say about positive reinforcement and reinforcement delay? Briefly describe.
One current article states that positive reinforcement is always the thing that best reinforces an individual child Positive reinforcement is usually tangible, such as a reward, or social, such as being publicly praised. Words of affirmation work for many children. Accolades like, “Good job!” “I like it when you share” and “You are so helpful,” can increase a childs desire to repeat the behavior. In other cases, tangible motivators like an ice cream cone or a toy might help alter behavior. (DeLeon 2001).When you talk about reinforcement delay, Reinforces usually lose effectiveness as delay increases
